Never said you didn't.

UT has been in a plateau of mediocrity, where Bama (just like Auburn 2008-2015), has been way up and way down. Your lows were lower and your highs were higher, ours was more stable. Of course id much rather have some success, but I cant really do much about that. It is what it is.

We all have down years. The incredible thing to me about Tennessee wasn't that they had a decade run of being down, it was that you guys never even had a year where you had some good seniors and lucked into 8 or 9 wins. Every year was the same.

Tennessee
2008 : 5-7
2009 : 7-6
2010 : 6-7
2011 : 5-7
2012 : 5-7
2013 : 5-7
2014 : 7-6

Alabama
1997 : 4-7
1998 : 7-5
1999 : 10-3, SEC Champs
2000 : 3-8
2001 : 7-5
2002 : 10-3
2003 : 4-9
2004 : 6-6
2005 : 10-2
2006 : 6-7
2007 : 7-6

I know this is a 6 page troll thread, but are we really trolling Robert Neyland's military service? Even in 2016 troll standards some things should be sacred enough to be off limits. Guy went to West Point and served in WW1 and WW2 to praise from everyone who knew him.

Come on, find something else.

I agree. It's a weird thing, and not consistent with what you think would happen. It was just a colossally fricked up situation from the AD down.

That's as close to clockwork as it gets. Down, middling, up. Down, middling, up. Down, middling, up. Down, middling, and if you add 2008, up.
