Mississippi State should have beat them that year. We were right there and blew it. In fact, Auburn's 2010 NT we really should have beat them too. Lost 17-14 and I dare say many gave Cam Newton a game like we did that year. But that's the difference in this conference winning or losing and going to a NT.

Y'all played him about as well as anyone did that year. We held Cam in check the first half of the Iron Bowl then he shredded us in the 2nd half.
