It is funny how Alabama is the only team that can get better as the season progresses. For starters, Chad Kelly was making his first SEC start and got better as the season went on. Treadwell was still shaking off rust until mid season. We didn't have the #1 pick in the upcoming NFL draft at LT. Our line was a mess.

Yea, I agree, I think Ole Miss at the end of the year was better than we played them. However, Ole Miss played a very efficient game against us in addition to us having all the turnovers. As important as our turnovers was that Kelly and the offense had zero turnovers.

quote:Who said OM didn't improve as the season progressed? The true sign of a great coaching staff is how their players improve and get better as the season wears on them and how a team mentally and physically reacts after a loss. Bama and OM got better this season. And although Bama only had to regroup from one loss while OM had three, I think their seasons ended well.

Where did I say Ole MIss didn't get better as the season progressed? I think in some ways they did, but they also lost a few games since the Bama win so I don't think they progressed as well as Bama.
