No, most have to be pretty transparent and fulfill FOI requests.

I dont think you understand how public entities vs actual government institutions work.

My understanding is he denied every allegation that wasn't firmly documented, so we were left to believe that MSU (and ONLY MSU) offered him money for Cam's services and he went to Auburn for free despite that. Anyone with a brain can figure that if MSU was willing to pay Cam didn't go to Auburn for free. But Cam and Auburn got the benefit of the doubt.

Again what did he not comply with?

Just greater power overall could have scared Auburn into forcing Cam's dad to admit more.

I dont think you understand how this works either.

a NCAA with the power I describe could have forced JFF to admit to signing autographs for money
umm no they couldnt

Your point is invalid and lacking reasoning as to how what you are asking for actually works

The NCAA is not a government institution. But many universities are.

Back in 1988 we ran off Jackie, easily our most successful coach in decades at the time, just because of the fear that the NCAA would SMU us (even though in the long run they didn't have enough evidence to keep him out of coaching).

A 1988 Texas A&M would have sat JFF to avoid a possible major punishment. A 2013 A&M surrounded him with lawyers and said "come at me bro." That is my point.

What I am asking for? I keep saying I don't want a tougher NCAA. You know what, nevermind. It doesn't matter, the NCAA is not going to get tougher so it's pointless to speculate how they could.

Honestly I think lawsuits will tear apart the facade of amateurism within the sport in the next ten years.

well when you make idiotic and uniformed comments like this

Oh, I will certainly remember that talking point next time I want to ruffle some Auburn feathers. I haven't wanted to up to this point because I like Auburn, but you never know.

Have a nice day.
