It is so hard to compare coaching.
The game has changed so much.
On the one hand, Bryant could recruit many more players.
On the other hand, he was at the mercy of voters to determine championships.
I almost think you cannot really compare college coaches from different eras.
Of this era, I would say Saban is the best.

coaches have always been under the mercy of voters to win championships and still are
