To be fair, and I'm definitely not trying to compare Muschamp to Saban, Saban got a 5th year at MSU while Boom got fired after 4 from Florida.
Saban's record in his first 4 years at MSU is worse than Muschamp's record at Florida.

MSU hadn't been to a bowl game in 5 years when he took over. He made a bowl game every year he was there. That would be successful hence why he got hired by LSU.
Muschamp took over a powerhouse program, had one really good season and then tanked. Hence why he got fired.
I don't even know why I'm having to argue this...it was clearly a shitty comparison.
