At least he's not in the SEC

Sources tell CanesInSight.com that Craig Kuligowski will join Miami's staff as Defensive Line Coach #Canes. Big hire

Good job for him. That's a program I've always followed and I'm glad to see him end up there.

Lived in the keys for a while. If Richt can start getting talent on South Florida to stay there, Miami can return to a power. There are a ton of high end recruits there for Kul to choose from.

I guess we're seeing that Kul wasn't meant to be a DC. This is why he didn't get the promotion when Odom was hired. Technique vs. strategy.

Truth. I'm glad Kul was here and I'm glad he's out of the SEC.
BTW, any talent edge the SEC might have had over other conferences is quickly coming to par.
The ACC is back in a big way.

Call me crazy, I just don't know that Kul will catch the same magic. He'll put together good defensive lines in Miami, no doubt, but I just think so much was the right place at the right time with so many intangible things coming together here.

I bet Richt wanted him on his staff long before he got fired from UGA.

One thing the state of Missouri and surrounding areas does great at is producing lots of high quality RBs, WRs, & DLs.
The physical gifts of guys like Sheldon, Aldon Smith, Shane Ray, & Markus Golden are obvious. Kul did great with them, but no guarantee that Wilson won't be able to do the same.
The group of DLs coming back is very good and deep.

Time will tell. I wish Kul the best and hate losing him. Based on what I've read, it doesn't sound like we drop off much in terms of development and by all accounts, Wilson is a much better recruiter.

Wilson was a very good hire. I hate losing Kul but we should still be able to pump out great defensive lines.
Wilson has a pretty impressive list of NFL players as well
USC 2014-2015
Leonard Williams DE(First Round, 6th overall, 2015)
Antwaun Woods NT (Projected to be drafted in 2016 or later)
Georgia 2013
Mississippi State 2010 - 2012
Pernell McPhee DE (Fifth Round, 165th overall, 2011)
Fletcher Cox DT(First Round, 12th overall, 2012)
Josh Boyd DE(Fifth Round, 167th overall, 2013)
Oklahoma 2005 - 2009
Dan Cody DE (Second Round 53rd overall, 2005)
Clint Ingram DE(3rd Round, 80th overall, 2006)
CJ Ah You (Seventh Round, 239th overall, 2006)
Colorado 2000 - 2004
Tyler Brayton DE (First Round 32nd overall, 2003)
Justin Bannari DT(Fifth Round 139th overall, 2002)
