I was reading an article last night that cited a statistic that chilled me to the bone. THIS is what we've turned into and I don't know how we got there but we need to find a way out of it.

I mean damn, really? I remember when having friends on the other side meant healthy debate and the chance of changing one another's mind. I remember compromise (which is apparently a dirty word now). I remember evolution being a non-issue in High School in a small E. TN town in the 90s! Now we just hate each other for no reason.
