Always liked that uni combo for Carolina. But yeah, one of my fav arse-whoopings. Prothro layed a huge block at some point in that one, too.

Under Shula, it always seemed early in the season the offense was explosive and then around game 5 they would hit a wall and be shite the rest of the year. Those were fun years.

Man, I would of guessed that the footage was from the 90s, crazy how much has changed a decade later

The 2005 team was clicking on all cylinders until Prothro got hurt, after that the offense completely disappeared and the team was a shell of its former self.
The defense stayed tough but after Prothro went out the offense was non-existent.

Keith Brown and D.J. Hall were exceptional talents, and would have benefited from stricter leadership. Ken Darby always ran hard, and Brodie Croyle and Tyrone Prothro will always be among my favorite Bama players.
Mike Shula was Bama's QB when I was a student in T-town, and I will always appreciate his play as well as his coaching the Tide during a very tumultuous period in Alabama football history.
