UAB has 27 commitments. That is a big part of why they are rated so high (relatively speaking).

It's the same way MSU had a Top 10 recruiting class all last fall. You guys had like 23 commitments by October. But as everyone else caught up, your class dropped to #19 or #20.

UAB will fall in the rankings as others fill up their classes. And MSU will rise as they fill up theirs.

Look at how each team ranks in terms of QUALITY of class. Which is their average points total for each commitment. That is a closer indicator of where each class could finish:

#2 Georgia
#3 Alabama
#4 LSU
#7 Ole Miss
#8 Auburn
#11 Tennessee
#18 Texas A&M
#20 Florida
#26 Arkansas
#30 Mississippi State
#34 Kentucky
#36 Missouri
#37 South Carolina
#50 Vanderbilt
