You need to realize that government at its core is not the problem. We need government for many reasons. The problem is that our politicians are bought and paid for and no longer represent the masses.

There is too much corruption in our government. Laws should be written for the wellbeing of society, not sold to the highest bidder.

because he jacked up the spending by $1T a year right off the fricking bat

$10 TRILLION fricking dollars added to the fricking deficit while people are simultaneously whining about there not being enough federal money coming back to a state that already gets more than it puts in.

That $10T fricking dollars in the last 7 years isn't because "taxes were cut".

I agree government AT ITS CORE is not the problem. We don't have that. We have layer upon layer upon layer of bureaucracy, consolidating power within that bureaucracy, spending at will the fruits of those who produce for this country, all the while convincing people like those you see in this thread that we need more government, more regulation, and more of the money we all earn, so they can rinse and repeat.

That's because we are a Republican State.
You have to admit that most Republican candidates are clowns and are out of touch with the social climate we now live in.

I mean just look at the GOP primary circus.
This is what happens when people vote along party lines instead of the best candidate.

It's what happens when you only have 2 parties and they both have their own agendas. It's not choice, it's the illusion of choice.

Representatives used to be considered public servants. Now they are paid more by corporate lobbyists than their regular salaries. They're still servants but now they're serving special interest groups.

Very accurate.
You can hate Bernie all you want but at least he has the balls to come out and say this.

What's sad is people are so brainwashed by voting along party lines that politicians don't even try to hide it anymore.
If someone is elected on a promise to remove money from politics then they should be held accountable if they don't.
People need to stand up. We do need a political revolution.

And this thing votes. I bet you watch Fox News.

Fox was infamous for always tagging Obama with George Bush's last fiscal budget for obvious reasons, while pretending to be a "news organization" which is still actually believable to some people.

The 2009 budget and associated deficit was voted on and approved by President BUSH in 2008 before Obama was elected president. It came in with a deficit of 1.4 trillion, 700 billion of that being bail outs for the financial markets for the implosion of our economy in Bush's last year in office.

Obama inherited a complete clusterfrick and has been trying to dig the country out of it every since.

The 2015 budget came in with a deficit of 2.5% of GDP, better than the 40 year average and better than any year of Ronald Reagan's presidency.

Taxpayers have to foot the bill for invading Iraq after 9/11. Meanwhile Cheney's Halliburton buddies got to reap the benefits of the rebuilding contracts.

Blow up a building using overpriced military contract bombs then rebuild it using overpriced Halliburton labor.

Therein lies the problem, folks prioritizing their social needs over fiscal needs.

People will burn shite down over who they can frick or if a person hates a company that aborts babies and send them to a landfill in Kentucky, they will go in and shoot it up.

Who gives a frick about that.

The single biggest killer in the world today isn't Global Warming, terrorism, racism, but its the food industry.

If the worlds economy crashes, better hope you have some type of skills outside of retail, puters, or whatever else pussy job you may have.

If you don't own property that you can develop, then you ain't prepared. The weak will die, and the strong will overcome any collapse.

Water, Food, and Land.

Better get some.
