And why? (ie: Smart understands that a CFB team takes on the personality of their HC and, thus, needs a hard-working leader with enthusiasm that doesn't do that inane ear hole to thigh pads pregame huddle thing that CMR did).

You can play with heart and fire....and still suck balls at football.

QB is tenuous at best with either Lambert or a True Freshman taking snaps. WR...it's gunna be bad. TE...Not convinced it will be much better. Loaded at RB but if we can't pass it won't matter what those guys do.

D will be fine as long as we keep our core of returners back.

Next year looks a lot like 8 wins. A lot of the "Anybody but Richt" crowd will wonder if that's the best way to go and hopefully Kirby turns out to be a better coach but nothing I see says it's going to be easy.

This team needed an offensive identity in 2015 and might need one even worse in 2016. That's not a step forward to me. Next year was the year IMO to switch coaches in hopes for the next guy to have an immediate impact with a solid core to have that impact. I think that Richt, Smart....50% of coaches out there could take this 2016 team to 8-4. Better temper expectations now.

Smart loyalists will be the new Disneys next year.

Spurrier leaving uf played a big role in richt's early success.
