Bjork deserves a raise himself.

Didn't he get one last year? Maybe wait a year. Do start paying Kiffin and Heard more though.

Bjork geting a raise is more important for our program than any assistant we have on staff.

Dude just made it to the Sugarbowl. That warrants a raise.

Base salary in the 5's. SEC Championship incentive boosts it to the 6's. Book it.

He made it to a NY6 bowl this year, same as last year, are we going to keep hanging out raises to him every year? Bjork should be the priority, as should the assistants considering our assistant salary is something like 13th in the SEC.

why not?

how much does the sugar bowl pay out?

Hes selling out the stadium.
Donations are rolling in.

our team and brand have never been higher.

5 million with incentives sounds right.

imagine if he starts winning sec champs, or competing for national champs.

with his age and recruiting capabilities compared to other coaches. and the turn around hes done here.
Big programs needing a successor for an incumbent or a turn around would be coming for him at the 6.5-7.5 million mark like Saban.

Pay the man

Who is going to pay him more to go to their school? Texas maybe?

I think he's deserving of his pay but we really need to up that staff pay before giving him anything. We're way behind the others with top 10 paid head coaches.

There is literally no one on our staff that is in danger of being sniped.

Kiffin would be the only one I'm worried of losing. Heard too.

The rest aren't going anywhere lol.

Ok well let's get some more coaches then

That does say something for the staff to be ranked 12th in the SEC in staff pay but still have the success that we do in recruitment and on the field.

This. And people talking Sugar Bowl payout remember most of that money goes to the SEC to be divided among all members including sorry arse Mizzou.

It probably says more that there were some staffs who were significantly over paid. I'm all for giving Freeze a raise.

I'm not on the Bjork train though. He is riding the best coaching period in program history. Best baseball coach in program history, best basketball coach in program history, and 2nd best football coach in program history. He didn't hire any of those guys. Also the Laremy Tunsil situation was horribly botched on his watch. I'm not saying he sucks, I'm just not on the train yet with calling him great. I will say he rarely gets in the way though which wasn't the case in the past.

I imagine that is when we should give him another raise.

It would be unwise to give him a raise every year.

Also, yes, we made it to the Sugar Bowl, it is amazing, but it isn't like we lucked into it, actually, we're settling for the super bowl, because we barely missed the SEC championship.
