We have tested and proven guys at the skill positions. 4 of top 5 rushers and over 1300 yards. Those guys will do more with more opportunities. Returning four recievers with over 350 yards and string is an elite number one guy. The starting guards by the LSU game were Sims and Patterson, both freshmen. Conyers missed the second half of the season and was arguably our second best lineman behind Tunsil(starts at guard and right tackle. If we sign little, and we should, that will be a better group. On defense, the tackle stats are misleading. Our best second level player and sure fire NFL guy, Conner, missed most of the season. Denzel lead the team in tackles but his replacement, freshman Gates, was statistically dominant in his three starts. Gross, 3 year starter and all sec guy as well as our most disruptive lineman missed the entire season. Hampton and Woods, freshmen, played very well at safety but will have big shoes to fill for Elston and Hilton. They are arguably more talented.

FYI

Sr guard Morris started the last five games at LG and started eight games on the season. He also had 11 starts last year.
