Your current staff? How many people are on his staff that recruited and coached those kids? We are about to put a DL with his exact same HS size and position into the first round, and the kid that was one spot behind in in the recruiting rankings isn't. You think the NFL angle is going to work against Freeze? Do you not understand what is about to happen at the end of April on the first day of the draft? First the state have better women and now this. I definitely bit on that hook

Actually, this staff is very much so involved with those guys. This is the second time both Turner and Diaz have been here, and Hughs has been here all along.

And there is a big difference between getting a guy to the league and having guys producing. Let's not act like Nkemdiche couldn't have went to any school in the country and gotten drafted high, he's literally been in the spotlight for like 6 years now. And he will produce, but it's still one guy compared to seven. One of which is a shoe in for the pro bowl.

Serious question now. I'm not saying he has or hasn't. Have you seen significant improvement since he signed? Do you see him as a totally different player now or would you agree that he was already the most polished player you've seen come out of highschool?

Not to take anything away from your development of them. But now that they are leaving, as a state fan, I will flat out say that Treadwell, Tunsil, and Nkemdiche were the 3 most NFL ready freshmen I've ever seen. I honestly think any of the 3 would be worthy of a #1 overall ranking in most recruiting cycles.

Actually David Turner (DL Coach) Coached and recruited most of the DL on that list save for like two.

He's done two stints at State while Mullen has been the coach.
