Three of my in-laws neighbors also just had their homes broken into...in the north OCONEE area of all places. Eventually, somebody screws up and breaks in when someone is there.
I'll be damned if I will have no way to protect my family in the event it DOES ever happen. Doesn't matter if it ever has or not. If you were ever in the Boy Scouts and you learned only one thing, it was always be prepared.
