I'm sorry I disagree, wins and losses aren't the main factor in determining rankings. Tennessee is a perfect example of this. Tennessee had fourth quarter leads against two of the four playoff teams, and they have four losses, all to good teams. We have 0 quality wins, and our only so called quality loss is to #23 Tennessee. Vegas would probably have every team in the college football top 25 favored over us on a neutral field.

While this is how it should be, it's not how it actually is. The truth is, W-L is the most important (not the only) factor with rankings.

The people on this board probably know UGA better than most voters. We read about the team daily, study the team, players, recruits, coaches, etc. Do you think the pollsters go into that depth on every single team they rank? They don't have anywhere near enough time to do that. Hell, my guess is your average voter probably only watches a couple UGA games per year, if that. They just don't know how we win and lose. They don't know that we're probably the worst 3 loss team in the nation and there are plenty of 4 (or more) loss teams that are better than us.
