If richt does go be another HC for 16, I really hope it's virginia or maryland.

Practically zero stress at those jobs (compared to the SEC of course), fans won't expect a ton, and we would rarely if ever have to face him. Personally, I'd rather see him go to UVA since it's a muuuch easier road than at maryland, plus he could continue to beat up on tech.

And honestly with that division, it's not far fetched that he could have them vying for the division fairly soon.

I think he stays away from coaching this year.

Virginia would make a lot of sense. Fertile recruiting ground, still very close to the Southern states he has established high school connections in, and with Beamer stepping down very easy for him to sway in state momentum from the Hokies to the Cavs.

I don't know, it just seems like MR deserves a better fate than this..

I don't disagree w/ you, it is an easier path to the top from there, I just don't see Richt as a guy who really take that into consideration. To me he's the anti-pinkel, a man who really does believe that beating the best is the only way to be the best.

You have the best shot in the SEC for that. Maybe he loves UGA so much he doesn't want to face you on the field?

The one school I could never see him going to is the one he would have a chance to clobber, (Ga Tech), you are right about that one too.
