If 'Bama goes to the playoff as expected, the Sugar Bowl is supposed to take the highest-ranked SEC team. That will be Ole Miss somewhere between #12 and #15. Florida will have lost two in a row. Ole Miss will have won two in a row. Ole Miss has been to 8 Sugar Bowls with a 5-3 record and always brings something like 40 to 50,000 fans to New Orleans. Long-time favorite trip of Rebel fans. They'll fill the hotel rooms and restaurants. Florida--not so much. Both teams will have three losses, but Ole Miss will have the better metrics (#9 Sagarin Rating)and the momentum. And a hella lot better offense to watch play someone like Baylor. Ole Miss vs. Baylor is the call here for the Sugar Bowl match-up. Florida will be in the Citrus.

Nothing is locked up according to this but it is being talked about (LSU vs Michigan in Citrus).

LSU and Michigan meeting New Year’s Day in Orlando, Florida, is definitely a possibility, said Steve Hogan, CEO of Florida Citrus Sports, the organization that runs the Citrus Bowl.
