Arkansas does not qualify for a tier 1 one bowl. The Citrus Bowl can only chose Florida or LSU.

The other bowls are chosen to maximize viewership.

Wrong, there is no "qualification" needed-- that's only for the Sugar bowl. The Citrus bowl can choose who they want. And an Arkansas team with an exciting offense is a much better pick than a Florida team with no QB and two blowout losses to close the season. Also bowls want to sell hotel rooms and restaurant meals.

I cannot find anything stating that the The Citrus Bowl committee is contractually obligated to take the highest ranked SEC vs Big/ACC team available after the New Year's Bowls participants are selected. Its possible they select the Next highest SEC/Big10 because they want to. I'm sorry

However, you pigges are just trolling. Everything on the Citrus Bowl website and twitter account says they will selected the next highest SEC and Big 10 teams available.

Here’s a closer look at our partner conferences, the Big Ten and the SEC:

Playoff Contenders (anyone ranked in the top 12) – Alabama (SEC); Iowa (Big Ten); Michigan State (Big Ten); Ohio State (Big Ten);

Potential Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl Teams* – Michigan, Northwestern, Ole Miss, Florida, LSU, Georgia

For the SEC, there are 2 scenarios: if Florida is unavailable (win or lose CG) OR if Ole Miss is unavailable. LSU, Georgia also in the mix.

Our committee is ranking potential teams across both conferences. That rank and the final CFP poll will determine our ultimate selections.

No Pigges. Its Florida, Ole Miss, LSU, or Georgia.
