If LSU couldn't pull a top tier HC on short notice, then leaving Les to finish out his contract was the right thing to do. But that couldn't happen without the perennial win vs aggy. Beat Les, and Les is gone and LSU is left with it's dick in it's hand.
If LSU somehow managed to struggle just enough to let one slip away vs aggy tonight, Les could be gone and LSU would've been stuck trying to find a HC to replace one of the winningest coaches in SEC history, without a damned soul lined up for the job.
All bulshit aside, as an LSU fan, thank you aggy. Y'all's suckage is kindly appreciated.

I'm still ashamed we just cheered our little asses off over him getting carried off the field after beating a total burning bag of shite. i'm more embarrassed we didn't beat those chodes by 40. Doesn't mean shite-a crappy 2 score win is a win. I seem to remember earlier the number one team in the land escaped a crappy South Carolina team with a 5 point win. It's college football.
