That makes perfect sense. Cam is so incredible in the NFL that he can't be evaluated through passing statistics. Only the eye test can reveal that Cam is an elite NFL player. Of course, the eye test would have to ignore all those incomplete passes Newton throws. Watching an NFL qb who ranks 28th in completion percentage is actually pretty painful.

Not so much when he also leads the league in having passes dropped. There are 25 teams in the NFL that would swap QB's tomorrow with the Panthers.
