Worse fall from the near top? Auburn or LSU?

Auburn never really established itself as anything worth hyping. Everything was based on preseason expectations.
LSU spent the first half of the season establishing itself as a potential #1 team with the almost guaranteed Heisman winner. Now LSU may be firing its head coach and ending the season with a four game lose-streak.

Auburn was playing for a championship two years ago and now they are the worst team in the division. Is this really a question?

As sad as it makes me to say it, we knew AU was out of it by week 2, and even the most stubborn fans had to admit it by week 3, maybe 4. LSU had all their fans hopeful until about 2 weeks ago.

It is a question, hence the question marks.
