Not really. LSU had just won a national title with Saban. That situation was better for hiring a coach.

And I have a feeling they're going to really, really regret it. There are a lot of people on the outside who think Miles needs at least another season. You risk tearing down any goodwill you've built up by getting rid of him in this fashion.
