Sunni and Shia Muslims are not the same. Worlds apart in fact. I believe IS is primarily Sunni while most of the wealthy Arab states are Shia. I big clusterf... in my opinion.

ISIS is Sunni.
Al Qaeda is Sunni.
The Saudis are Sunni.
Kuwait is Sunni.
Assad of Syria is an Alawite (Shia but not always aligned with majority of Shia)
Iran is Shia
Palestinians are mostly Sunni but ally themselves with Iran's Shia government
Iraq is majority Shia with a large Sunni population

Iran, Syria, Palestinians, and government of Iraq are Shia and work together. The Saudis and many of the Arab ruling governmetns are Sunni and actively work against them.

You have it backwards.

Majority Sunni: SA, Egypt, UAE, Oman, Qatar, Yemen, Syria, Jordan, Afghanistan, all other 'stans
Majority Shia: Iran, Iraq, Bahrain, Kuwait

Problem is Syria huge majority ruled by Shia (Alawite) and Iraq Sunni marginalized by Shia government full of Iranian influence.

So they should instead try to assimilate in a western country with a Christian majority? Good luck with that. Although Shias and Sunnis may not be the same, they have more in common with each other than they do with Christians, Atheists, and other Western religions and ideologies. Accepting Syrian Muslims is a mistake.

Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, Morocco and other Muslim countries should be taking in Syrian refugees. It's inexcusable that they are sitting idle watching their own people suffer. There is no need to create future social tensions like the ones that now exist in England and Germany. Islam is just not compatible with Western values, no matter how much SJWs want it to. Why are our world leaders so damn stupid not to realize this?
