Not sure about that Miss State game. We won that one and then we shutout LSU the next week. I do firmly believe that he didn't prepare for that Auburn game. Even the players says that he was MIA a lot that week. Anyone who watched us play that year would recognize how out of character our gameplan was against Auburn that day. My uncle hunts with one of the Britt boys. About 6 weeks after the season ended they were sitting around the fire and Britt started talking about how their practices the week of the Auburn and Hawaii games were basically the equivalent of spring practices. There was no specialty stuff, no opponent preparation, no nothing. They basically ran their stuff, watched basic film and left. He said they were all flummoxed and had no idea what was going on and all felt really really unprepared for both games (specifically Auburn).

Then when Fran left on December 5th they all knew exactly what had been going on.
