My Mom and Dad did it in the 70's and early 80's. They also smoked cigarettes in public on their way to actually achieving stuff in their lifetime . What is the issue? Simply put...Weed needs to be legalized in the Deeps. (Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana).

You are joking right? It's pretty obvious why.

People are ignorant and stubborn, mainly.

My friend once injected a whole weed and died from overdoses. The danger from marijuanas are real and imminent.

It is legal elsewhere. I want it in Auburn.

It is really no worse than taking a cigarette break every freaking 15 minutes like my co-workers are prone, and conditioned, to do.
It IS legal in our Country now, by the way.
Alabama, Georgia and the Mississippi's need to take a step forward for progress.

Well, not really. State law is not the same as federal law. Go smoke a joint in a state that it's legal and let me know what happens when you take the drug test at work. They fire you due to federal law.

Georgia will do it before Alabama and Mississippi. Not sure where the other Mississippi is

We are smarter than this.
I have done it...often. It has yet to hurt me in any way.
It should be legal.

I just moved to Colorado, so I have some perspective from both sides. This state is making so much money from marijuana sales it's unreal. In my opinion, it should be legalized if for no other reason than the ungodly amount of tax revenue. They basically treat it just like alcohol up here, and it works great. There are lounges people go to chill, and people buy it and take it home or whatever. The people around here seem to be handling it really well, and the shops are incredibly professional. I've actually never smoked weed, but I took some time to visit a couple of the lounges and shops just to see what it was like. Pretty cool. These people have it figured out, and it wouldn't disrupt the way of life or cause mass debauchery if it were legalized in the south.
