Both the Utah and Oklahoma Sugar Bowls spread between winning 3 BCS National Championships were consolation games for Alabama. The prize they were after was a NC and when that opportunity was lost the *consolation prize* of playing in the Sugar Bowl was ZERO motivation for Alabama. For Utah and Oklahoma it was the ZENITH of their season. Congrats on the win. If it had been a regular season game or a Championship game we wouldn't be discussing it now because you would have lost the game.

There it is!

Alabama puts up 526 yards of offense in "consolation games".

In consolation games?

In consolation games! They didn't give a shite THAT MUCH!

This right here is the argument of a lost cause. Once you see it, you know you're not talking to someone being honest.
