Total defense rankings for Oklahoma opponents to date

Akron- #28
Tennessee- #54
Baylor- #72
West Virginia- #91
Texas- #93
Kansas State- #109
Iowa State- #115
Tulsa- #124
Texas Tech- #126
Kansas- #128

Oklahoma has played one team with a defense ranked inside the top 50 and that is a team from the MAC. Tennessee's the only other team they faced that had a defense inside the top 70 and Oklahoma got shut down for most of the game until Tennessee had their weekly 4th quarter meltdown. Seven of their ten opponents have a total defense ranking 90 or below. By comparison's sake, South Carolina's defense is ranked 90th in the country. 70% of Oklahoma's opponents has a worse defense than a South Carolina team that gave up 52 points to Georgia, 45 points to LSU and 28 points to Texas A&M. No wonder Baker Mayfield looks like a Heisman Trophy candidate after playing that murderous row of teams.

Right. But I'm not on here saying we have the best offense in the country and we could beat "ANY defense" based upon the shite defenses we've played thus far. Alabama fans are making such claims when they haven't faced but one offense worth a damn whom they lost too.

You don't get to use stats to point out OU opponents defense rankings, and then turn around and say Alabama's opponent offense rankings don't matter cuz "SEC defense n shite". That won't fly and it's moronic. If SEC defenses NCAA ratings matter, so do their abysmal offensive ratings. If SEC poor offense ratings are caused by great defenses, BIG XII defense ratings are caused by great offenses.
You don't get to say "we play defense" while ignoring your piss poor offense ratings and talk shite to the BIG XII who has 5 out of the top 10 scoring offenses as "not playing defense". Facts are facts.
