The smart play is to just go downtown, park somewhere on Dickson or Block St and walk around.
Block St connects the square to Dickson and you have bars and restaurants around for several blocks. It is a safe area at night apart from bar fights. No worries.
There's a parking garage at Spring & School, a few municipal lots and its $5 max for an all day parking spot. Parking is free until 2pm.

That is the smart play probably. Hasnt Lioneld and crew changed the parking again? I heard they are not having business provide parking on square and Dickson now.
