but Blake has an SECCG win under his belt as well.

Against a very weak and overrated Missouri football team.

McElroy played against the #1 Florida Gators, possessors of one of the best defenses in college football and winners of 20 straight games, and picked them apart.

Amazing how one game can seemingly change a fan's whole perspective on a player's season. He was average at best that year and his only real saving grace was he didn't turn the ball over or take sacks because he could throw the ball away. Yes, that's an underrated skill, but it's not all a good QB needs. He had no touch on his passes, couldn't throw a sideline pass past 10 yards, and Julio's verticality and riculous athleticism/strength were wasted with McElroy because he couldn't throw a jumpball.

I love McElroy, but the only thing you can give him over Sims is his natty. And if last year's Sims was the QB that year, it wouldn't have ended any differently.
