We'd probably be a much better team if we slowed down the pace and tried to bog down games, but it could potentially hurt what he is trying to build.

Yep I 100% agree. I don't think it will take as long to really get going either with the class we have coming in next year.

Absolutely.
You've wasted a year to put towards building your system if you slow things down in an effort to maybe win two or three more games and avoid a few blowouts.
If AJ's plan works out, a couple of years from now nobody's going to remember or care if they finished 17-15 or 15-17 this season.
