If it is for the greater good of the university as a whole then yes. The university is about making money. Black athletes make the university 100s of millions of dollars a year. They are an asset to the university

I don't think anyone will disagree with you on this.

I don't know why that is so hard for some of you to understand.

It is hard to understand because there doesn't seem to be any institutionalized problems. If there are, would you mind pointing them out to me?

I haven't seen or heard of any black Alabama athletes being victims of racism, or come out and voice their displeasure of the "system."

All I am asking for is proof of such problems.

Just humor them...put a Chief Diversity Officer in or something to make them feel good....they can take their grievances to them.....its better that way than having this cancer spread on campus and in our locker room....

There aren't any. The problem comes from the racist individuals and the things they do. The ones that have a beef with blacks no matter what. Their presence on the campus is really small, but it is there and felt by some. The University is a brand and they don't want their brand tarnished. They'd rather these people go away than hurt what is established. No one of any reason think there is institutionalized racism on the campus. I think this is where things got cloudy. There are just a few that express their hate and i'm sure the university respects that, but would rather they not be on their campus doing so.
