Do you think that it makes sense for the University to spend time and resources towards not allowing the presence of certain ideas or opinions? Seems like a waste to me.

If it is for the greater good of the university as a whole then yes. The university is about making money. Black athletes make the university 100s of millions of dollars a year. They are an asset to the university. I don't know why that is so hard for some of you to understand.
