Look at the hegemony. You can't compare the two. There is a dominant culture that is present on campus. Not saying that particular culture is racist but I am saying it's pre-dominantly white. Apples and Oranges.

MIssouri is 83% white by population, the campus make up is 79% white.
If by hegemony you mean representative of the population in general, then you'd be correct. Otherwise….it's a fail. It's a dominant culture for a reason. That reason is the same reason the Latino culture is dominant in Mexico.
There's more of them.
