His very action was supporting the ouster of the president. He can try to slice that anyway he wishes, but there was only one end game in this situation.
Pinkel is smart enough to know this and made a decision to side with his players and the one on strike.
My opinion is neither condemning nor approving his action. I am merely providing an opinion on the OP.

Sure. And there's consequences for that action. And he's trying to avoid those, too. Sucks to suck.
