That's just not how it works. Vegas' incentive is to be as close as possible to prevent arbitrage. Regardless, I wasn't talking about lines for any specific game. This is what I was referring to as a proxy for how Vegas is looking at CFB right now, irrespective of record. Keep in mind it's very fluid from week to week.

So according to that link Michigan state would be a 4.5 pt favorite over Alabama on a neutral site? Am I reading that right?
