i think it's still exciting. every season i am continually surprised at how continually surprised i am. cfb never fails to surprise me or disappoint, each week. i was riveted by the auburn/ark game, not just because it was 4ot but also to see where the 2 teams land in the pecking order. it's such a dog fight every week.

i also find that there is absolutely, unequivocally no substitute for being there. the lsu/fla game was incredible. my stomach was in a knot the whole game. the last 2 lsu/bama games in b.r. have been unbelievable. some of the best fb i've ever seen. watching at home is great because i'm sometimes rocking 5 or 6 games at once on big weekends.

on the subject of espn - couldn't care less. i NEVER watch gameday, 30 for 30, sportscenter, etc. i can't stand that crap. i will watch for the sid story this weekend though but, that is a rare, rare exception and has almost nothing to do with the gameday garbage.

the old bowl system and the subjectivity - hated it. the arguments about who is better, i find totally stupid. i liked the bcs better and i like the playoff even better. there's still plenty of room for trash talk every season.
