My oldest cousin actually has an agriculture degree from ISU (hates the Cyclones though )

Lots of Cyclone alums in my extended family on both sides (my parents met at ISU) but my grandpa (lifelong farmer) was a Hawkeye through and through.

My grandpa gave me a good ribbing during my visit over Christmas 2004 as LSU was playing Iowa and Saban announced he was bolting for Miami. Unfortunately he passed a few years later so he got the last laugh on that one.

Iowa is full of good people. They just aren't the best at football. Scrappy as hell though and my favorite home away from home.

we had a few kids come to our school after Katrina that were LSU fans and I had some good fun with them over that Hail Mary since it was the most recent bowl season

And yeah, they aren't the best but they'll reward you with two or three pretty damn good seasons every decade.
