Awful news. Stay strong, Sid. We're all praying for you!

Completely understand the God part. I lost a son and felt...and still occasionally feel...the same way.
I've thought about posting a message to Sid's dad since he posts on Tigerdroppings and tell him if he needs to talk to someone who completely understands, I'd be honored to do it. I just don't think it's the time yet, though.
I pray for Sid every day and I think about him multiple times a day. Maybe the LSU team..or Fournette...could visit him if he makes it long enough to see the LSU-Bama game and feels up to it. Anything to make his day and time left the best humanly possible.
Geaux Sid!!!

"With evil things God cannot be tried." In other words, God does not cause bad things to happen to people, whether they themselves are good, bad, rich, poor, old, or young. I don't care what your pastor preaches, what you've heard the majority say or lament, God does not have 'a time for people to go'. God does not cause people to die. God is not some petulant or insecure-all-powerful being in need of 'another angel'. We all die. Some in accidents, some in old age, some by means of other vicious humans, some in ill health.
That's all I'll say on THAT subject.
