Why would he? He had enough money, he had accomplished everything anyone could in college football coaching (stellar record, SEC titles, national title), and coaching is a hell of a hard job to do. The hours are ridiculous. If you had a 100-hour-a-week-job and were in your late 50s and had earned enough to retire comfortably, why on earth wouldn't you?
