Wat?

It's a nice hit but it came at the end of regulation when the clock was clearly going to run out barring some kind of miracle kick return for a touchdown.

The game was lost when we got the ball after Yeldon's fumble and we subsequently failed to punch it in. That was the moment we lost momentum. Couple that with our dumbass kicker knocking it out of bounds on the kickoff and Chavis letting y'all drive the field with ease and the wheels were coming off long before Fournette got trucked on a kickoff return that was extremely unlikely to matter anyway.

All you have to do is watch the players reactions from both sides to realize how important it was.

Video evidence says you are full of shite:

Of course the Bama players are hyped about the hit on Fournette but I see absolutely zero in the reaction of LSU's players that show that hit *in and of itself* somehow changed the momentum.

The momentum change you saw had far more to do with this sequence of events:

1) LSU failing to punch it in after Yeldon's huge gift
2) Domingue's idiotic kick out of bounds
3) Bama getting in field goal range with 50 seconds and zero time outs

But hey, why let the facts get in the way of what seemed like a clever troll in your head. Ooh, somebody hit Fournette on a kickoff return that was going nowhere with no time left in regulation. That hit really changed the game, no?
