LSU has a specific song for each down. They then play various traditional songs throughout different phases of the game. What's nice is that with the exception of Tiger Rag and Eye of the Tiger, their music is very unique to LSU.
They also play the occasional pop rock song like Green Day's Holiday. However, most of the really good stuff gets banned because the students add a bunch of profanity to shout.
No problem! I actually find it refreshing that LSU has these traditions or UF has the Go Gators Chant or Alabama plays that Roll Tide Chant after getting a 1st down... School specific traditions do not bother me It's the cookie cutter songs that bug the shite out of me.

You say this, but OU and USC respectively play Boomer Sooner and Fight For Troy ad nauseum. I know it is part of their tradition, but dang learn another song. I know some people get bent out of shape with Rocky Top being played a lot, but it is nowhere near as bad.
Regardless, I get your sentiment. I'm just glad that these guys aren't in the SEC. it just makes watching their games unbearable.
