Scoop...that is indeed sad.
Not surprising, but sad. And I can imagine her tone when she said it, anyone would have a hard time getting her to admit she said anything wrong.
Did your friend (hubby) have the grace to look embarrassed at least?

Neither of these teams need any more motivation. If the kid can make it and it makes him happy before he passes away, then that is all that matters.
