I'm sure Steele will hold Alabama to 20, Arkansas to 20, and Ole Miss to 23.

Oh wait he won't.

If you want to talk shite you should start a thread on our offense or quarterback situation.

I don't see why this thread and these continual threads are necessary... Dude wanted a guaranteed contract considering all of the noise around the LSU program the past few years and after what he experienced at UT.

Almost no assistant coaches have guaranteed contracts and assTomouth was willing to give him one. No brainer for him, I guess. Good riddance.

Where is my Sunday John Chavis defense update?

Chavis wanted to go where he could have a good offense to complement his good defenses. So he went from a team that scored 10 on Ole Miss when they were undefeated and ranked 3rd to a team that scored 3 on Ole Miss when they were 5-2 and gave up 37 in a loss to Memphis.

But they still like him there in College Station, because their defense is better now than it was, which, to be fair, is exactly how we felt in 2009. One of these days, if or when they are ever good enough to actually have a 3-point lead over a good team in the last two minutes for him to blow, they'll learn what we did.

Until then, we can just all shed a tear for poor Chavis, who would win beaucoup national titles if he could just find a team with a decent offense to go along with his flawless defense.

I got your huckleberry...

Chavis called Miles this weekend to see if it was too late to get his job back. Les said, "Please keep this confidential. But I've let it be known I will be here for three more years. The Administration has already struck a deal with Sumlin to come in and take over as HC with one condition regarding the DC...."
