B) Lashlee is a Malzhan apprentice and brings nothing to the offensive game plan that Gus hasn't already thought of and can't offer any new ideas in the event of a down game or season. No recruiting advantage by having him as the O coordinator.
C) Dameyune was a great player but was hired as a top recruiter and hasn't delivered. His receivers are possibly the worst coached in the conference. As Duke's position coach, he should not have allowed his lack of effort and poor play on the field to continue. Also, only considered coming to AU from Free Shoes if we doubled his salary so no heartfelt need to come home to coach his beloved Tigers.
D) Same as C. Rodney was hired to deliver 5 star recruits from the greater Atlanta area and has not. His D line is woeful. Also, like Craig, insisted on a huge pay increase before even considering making the move back to his alma mater (which UGA refused to match obviously).
I believe Gus get this offseason to make the necessary changes to his staff and the 2016 season to improve over what will likely be a 5-6 win season. If he refuses to make these painful, but needed, changes (like Tubbs did) the seat will be warm by September, 2016.
Jay Jacobs, like Tim Jackson are good Auburn men ..wink wink and aren't going anywhere.
War Eagle Anyway!
