Do I really have to explain this to you?
Why can't you look at the flag and say look how far we've come?
Let me give an example along the same lines. Nicholls st. COLONELS had to change their mascot because it was offensive(although when polling the student body, only 2% found it offensive). The fact of the matter is the fricking school is named after a confederate officer!
This fricking PC world we live in is fricking ridiculous. The worst thing on planet Earth is to hurt someone's feelings now

Let's get rid of the American flag because bad things have happened in America, at some point or other, and someone has surely been offended.
