It's sad, but it's not very common. I think this was the first person to be hit on the NG area of University since 2007. That's pretty rare considering the traffic and volume of drunks multiple nights a week.

This is not true. I saw the accident this weekend in front of Boulevard (used to be Daisy Dukes). Same situation happened last Spring in front of the Corner Bar.
