While I wish they would, Ole Miss won't win out. And even if they do, they have absolutely no shot whatsoever of going to the playoff. In my opinion.

Unless something miraculous happens, and I hope it does, they will be lucky to go 3-2 over the next 5 games.

Now, if Memphis wins out, they just might go.

Looking like the only possibilities for an SEC team making the playoff hinge on LSU, Alabama, or Florida finishing with one loss (or zero for LSU) including an SEC championship game. In this hypothetical situation Ole Miss would be a two loss SEC champion which probably eliminates the SEC. The committee has claimed that conference champions hold more weight and this would be a test of that.
