Well let's look at the past 5. (2011-2015)
Since most coaches are fired within 5 years.

44-16. 73.3%
2 division titles
1 top 10 finish (2014)
1 top 5 finish (2012)

Basically a 10 win season coach.

My only issue with firing him after this season, is how many freshmen we are playing, people are getting upset because we lost the 2 games ( most predicted) we would lose coming into the season, and finally but most importantly the recruiting class including Jacob Eason would be lost. UGA would be set back years. I agree the losses are frustrating , but if you can't see the whole picture and realize the program is almost there your blind. A few years ago coming off a losing season I could see the change , but now after rebuilding again. After the investment. We are right here we were predicted. 10-2 winning the East. You have to believe UF loses this weekend. That puts everything in our hands win out which is possible if not probable. Not to mention , the admin is not doing anything. So you have 2 choices support and be patient or find another team.

No one is pulling for our program and Richt more than I am....possible yes, but probable is ridiculous. Unfortunately, our team lays the occasional egg when it's least expected.....Tennessee last week......Georgia Tech and Florida last season.....you can go back every season since 2008 and find them...by egg laying, I mean losing to a team that you are much more talented than and clearly looking like you're not ready to play. Missouri was an egg laying two years ago. With Missouri, Florida, Kentucky and Auburn all left on the SEC schedule, nothing is probable...only hopeful.

2015 is this year, you mean 2010-2014

46-21 (9.2 wins per year,4.2 losses per year which is terrible.)

If you want to count this year:

50-23

Yet Richt has a losing record in bowl games and vs ranked teams. Who cares about 10 win seasons? Is that the measuring stick UGA is using? What do 10 wins bring us? Does the 10 wins keep us from being blown out by really good teams like Bama? Or does the 10 wins keep us from losing to inferior teams like USC, GT, UF last year or Tenn this year? I don't get how 10 wins keeps us from shitting the bed usually 1-3 games a year. Richt is the only constant and he is terrible.

In Fact, Richt's best success came off his the previous coaches' players. B/c once Richt had all his guys in the program that HE recruited, was around 2004 or 2005, then the program started to go all down hill from there.

If Richt can't win with M Stafford (number 1 pick in draft), AJ Green (#1 WR taken, #4 in draft), and Moreno (#1 RB taken, #12 in draft), then how is he supposed to do it now? Richt couldn't even win with the best SEC qb ever, A Murray, or the best SEC RB since the 80's in Todd Gurley.

Our defense in the '12 had a bunch of guys in the NFL as well, so even with Richt's best teams, he still can't win the SEC. Some of you guys want to point to his 2005 and the years before that, but the last 10 years of the SEC have changed very much and Richt has proven he just can't hang with the big boys.
